Description

This was my entry for the Risembool Ranger calendar contest, but I tied for 20th place with the lineup of shirtless guys. :| Lovely. How I wish I'd stuck with the black and white version here: [link] Things just get butchered when I try to color them. I think it would have stuck out more if it was black and white instead of having bright yellows and reds on the dark blue. *goes and sulks with Tamaki in the emo corner* :sadangel:

So yeah, the prominent figure in the foreground on the right is Fai from Tsubasa in the Infinity arc, because I like the collar. :bucktooth: And in the background is a combination of images from his past and one from when they return to Celes, which is technically after Infinity.... I could always change the collar to the kimono he wears in Japan. Oh excuse me, the FURISODE that he wears in Japan. :la: Furisodes are girls' clothes. does anyone else blame Tomoyo for that? *raises hand* Poor Fai wearing something he doesn't know is crossdressing. Then again, I don't think he'd mind all that much. The sleeves are pretty. :bucktooth:

Technically Fai wasn't crossdressing because Kurogane is from a Feudal Japan dimension. In Feudal Japan young boys would wear furisodes to signify that they were a lover of samurai.

Tomoyo is still to blame and did you notice Kurogane DIDN'T SAY ANYTHING TO FAI ABOUT HIS CLOTHES!! That means that he wasn't against Fai wearing it even though Fai probably didn't know what it was OR what it signified.
